| 概要 | In this research, I use the combination of sound processing techniques to materialize the system of my interactive sound installation work named "Your Angelic Voice" which transforms any human voices to "Angelic" voice. Those techniques are extreme granular synthesis, pitch shifting and delay effect. Through experiences of this installation, people hear how their own pre-recorded voices are transformed as results of sound processing executed one by one. It is expected that they discover aesthetic factors included in their own voices. The system is made by using Pure Data (0.49.1) which is open source and the specific programming tool for real-time sound processing with algorithm. I describe the setup of this installation "Your Angelic Voice" and how to stretch sound up to 100 times long by granular synthesis algorithm in real time, one of the primary features. The sound stretched by this method preserve characteristics of original voice. |
