概要 This paper studies a novel channel estimation method using matrix factorization based interpolation. The interpolation can be assumed as a matrix completion problem which is well studied in the field of collaborative filtering. It is known that a low-rank matrix can be accurately interpolated using matrix factorization technique. In fact, the channel frequency response is a linear combination of some Fourier basis, and channel matrix (channel frequency response in the time-frequency domain) is low rank. The computer simulation shows the high accuracy of the proposed method compared with the conventional methods.
