概要	Alkylresorcinols (AR) from rye and olivetol, the smallest alkyl-chain AR, activate sirtuin (SIRT1). Deacetylation of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma activator 1α (PGC-1α) by ARs promotes mitochondrial function and metabolic homeostasis and suppresses obesity in mice fed a high-fat diet and in human clinical trials.
