概要 | Research on methods for representing natural objects and phenomena by computer graphics (CG) has been steadily broadening the scope of represented objects in recent years. Among such research, visual simulation of terrain generation is an important issue that has a wide range of applications related to visual contents, such as in landscape simulation. The shape of the river are generally straight, meandering, braided, but shows the shape such as, those of various shapes is by deposition and erosion by water. In order to create such river morphology, in this paper we present a modeling method for simulating the topography of eroded terrain based on particle-based simulation of water flow. |
