概要 | To ensure the continual progress and widespread acceptance of robots, we consider that the exterior design of a robot is crucial. Therefore, in this paper, we examine the system for transitioning character design from a design thinking perspective. From the perspective of approachability, we have incorporated touching communication to prevent boredom and devised a mechanism that can introduce visual changes. In this context, "touching" is defined as "attaching animal- like ear parts to the robot's main body." Furthermore, by making the ear parts detachable, we not only enable touching but also allow users to customize the robot's appearance to their liking. We proposed a system that can switch the smartphone screen corresponding to the robot's face according to the attached ears. In this paper, we discuss the applicability of the proposed system. |
