概要 | In this study, accessory-like physical objects are used for connecting multiple mobile applications interactively to establish a novel platform for digital content. These objects have different shapes according to their function, which is triggered only by placing them on the touchscreens of multiple devices to physically connect them. By making the application respond instantly after the objects are placed on the screens, it is possible to offer a user an impression that the digital content possesses a physical attribute. We expect this approach can expand the ideas of mobile content for providing a fascinating experience. This research establishes a framework for using a physical object with multiple devices, which is demonstrated by implementing a prototype application and object to evaluate the interaction design. In this paper, we explain the concept of our approach and interaction design. We also report on the implementation of a prototype application and the preparation of recognizable objects. |
