概要	The incidence of HAD in postoperative cardiac surgery patients was 10.4% overall. HAD was found in 6.8% of the patients aged 65–74 years and 14.5% of the patients aged 75–89 years. For patients aged 65–74 years, comorbidities, preoperative left ventricular ejection fraction, physical function, and intubation time affected the incidence of HAD. For patients aged 75–89 years, both HAD and non-HAD groups were affected by aging, and their physical function decreased after surgery. Additionally, preoperative physical function, physical ability levels for daily life before hospitalization, the use of rehabilitation services under the long-term care insurance system, and intubation time significantly affected the incidence of HAD.
