概要	The effect of fatty acid supplementation to the culture medium on the growth of the acid-tolerant lactic acid bacterium Lactobacillus acetotolerans strain HT was investigated. The results showed that the added fatty acids were not essential for growth, but they shortened the lag phase of strain HT.
