| 概要 | Certain biochemical molecules present in biological systems and the environment can contribute to diseases or environmental pollution, exhibiting temporal and spatial variations in their concentrations. Biosensors serve as valuable tools for detecting these biochemical molecules, with immunosensors—biosensors that utilize antibodies—being widely used for specific molecular recognition. However, conventional immunosensors rely on the strong binding between antibodies and target molecules (antigens), preventing natural dissociation and thus limiting their use to single-time measurements or detections. In contrast, some target proteins, such as those associated with acute diseases, require continuous monitoring. To address this need, we have developed an immunosensor capable of rapid and repeated (semi-continuous) measurements, expanding its practical applications. This paper introduces recent advancements in immunosensors, focusing on those capable of semi-continuous measurement and their potential applications. |
