| 概要 | This study investigated whether commonly used physical performance test (PPT) tasks reproduce the neuromechanical characteristics of running, which is important for return-to-running decisions. Ten healthy males performed running and nine PPT-related tasks (including walking, single-leg hops at 30/60/100% of maximal distance, single-leg squats, and balance tasks). Surface EMG from 16 trunk and lower-limb muscles was analyzed using non-negative matrix factorization to extract muscle synergies. All tasks shared some synergies with running, but walking, 30% single-leg hop, and step-up-down showed higher proportions of shared synergies than other tasks. However, temporal activation patterns differed between running and every PPT task. The authors conclude that certain tasks may better approximate running coordination and could be useful candidates for future return-to-running evaluation frameworks. |
