概要 | In this paper, we propose a method for the simulation of breaking wave phenomena. When waves collide with a beach and break up, the wave's leading part disintegrates, and foam is produced. We simulate this using a particle-based method, the SPH method, extended to the case of incompressible viscousfluid analysis, SMAC-SPH, with the spray particles as a spatial representation of the water spray and mist generated by breaking waves. Assuming the foam produced at beaches is the result of cavitation due to the agitation of seawater caused by waves, we present a method of reproducing the generation of foam which uses the flow velocity calculated from the SMAC-SPH method, the hydrostatic pressure, density, and the saturated vapor pressure calculated from the water temperature to obtain the cavitation coefficient. |
