概要	Tensiomyography (TMG) is a noninvasive instrument for measuring mechanical muscle contraction characteristics, measuring the maximum displacement of the muscle belly relative to the muscle by electrical stimulation and the time required to do so.In healthy college students, tensiomyography (TMG) parameters of the rectus femoris muscle showed significant differences by gender in maximum displacement values and a weak correlation between TMG parameters and lower extremity muscle mass TMG parameter assessment may indicate different functions compared to conventional muscle function assessment used in clinical practiceThe TMG parameter evaluation may represent a different function compared to the conventional muscle function evaluation used in clinical practice.When using the maximum displacement of the TMG as a battery for evaluating the rectus femoris muscle, it is important to consider gender differences.
